Every year I get together with this gorgeous family to capture new portraits of them. Each year is more fun than the last! We had a blast at Spanish banks late this summer, playing in the sand, and capturing their love. It was a fun exercise for me trying to avoid all the beach goers, too. I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t have wanted bikini clad Vancouverites in their family portraits 🙂
Turning two is a big milestone and what better way to mark the occasion than with some brand new portraits. This sweet girl was full of wonder as she explored the set and played with the teddy bears. I always feel there is a little bit of magic in some of the quiet moments.
This little man brought his mom and dad, as well as his older brother for his newborn photos. Always a pleasure to work with them!
Working with families as they welcome a new baby into their world brings me so much joy. I’m in awe of each little person who comes into my studio. The tiny sneezes, the yawns, trying to munch on a hand; it’s those little details that leave me smiling for days.
This season is always one of the most fun and busiest seasons of the year. The beautiful vibrant colours outdoors, the crisp morning air, and holidays just around the corner, one can’t help but get excited. It’s also a time you tend to realize, my goodness, the kids have grown! What better time for some fresh family portraits, or some fun holiday photos to capture the joy of the season.
