I’ve photographed hundreds of newborns over the past decade, and with the exception of a couple of girls, all the longest lashes end up on baby boys. Seems kind of unfair, doesn’t it? I only wish my lashes looked this glorious! I loved his session. He was happy to let me do my thing and posed for his portraits perfectly. This little man had not only the longest lashes, but the cutest cheeks, and amazing hair. Wouldn’t you agree?
Meeting a new addition to a family is so rewarding. This sweet little boy joined me at my Vancouver studio earlier this year and I absolutely fell in love with him and his big sister. Photographing kids, though sometimes stressful, is just such a pleasure for me. And knowing I was able to contribute to this family’s cherished memories means so much!
This lovely lady came to visit me this fall with her adoring big brother. He was so sweet and gentle with her. I know he’ll be someone to look up to as they’re growing up. Can’t wait to see them again when she’s sitting up.

Working with families as they welcome a new baby into their world brings me so much joy. I’m in awe of each little person who comes into my studio. The tiny sneezes, the yawns, trying to munch on a hand; it’s those little details that leave me smiling for days.
